A Very Happy New Year to One and All!
Jan 5, 2017 | News
A new year is upon us and I wanted to take this opportunity to wish everyone a healthy, wealthy, enjoyable and successful 2017.
2016 was an eventful and memorable year in many ways, not least in terms of world affairs with the ongoing war in Syria, Brexit and the US presidential elections. It was also the first full year of operations for the Laszlo Institute of New Paradigm Research with many great conferences to look back on. But the Laszlo Institute has done more than just facilitate conferences. It has also served to bring together many like-minded thinkers and activists who have been able to share their thoughts and ideas in a spirit of mutual support and who have now formed strong bonds of friendship and respect. The Institute has become what I always hoped it would become – a central hub that brings together wonderful, inspirational and creative people that care about our fragile planet. My hope is that you will continue to support our important work as we move forward into 2017 and I look forward to meeting you all again soon.
With this in mind I am delighted to be able to inform you that the first two conferences of 2017 have now been confirmed so please put the dates in your diary now!
The theme of the first conference is “The New Paradigm in Education” and takes place on 21st-22nd March 2017 in Bagni di Lucca, Tuscany.
This conference will bring together leading thinkers and subject experts to present and discuss the latest research about why our current educational systems are failing and why we need to change the way we educate young people for a sustainable planet and sustainable future.
The theme of the second conference is “The New Paradigm in Politics & Economics” and takes place on 23rd-24th May 2017 in Bagni di Lucca, Tuscany.
This conference will bring together leading thinkers and subject experts to present and discuss the latest research about why our current political and economic systems are no longer valid in today’s complex world and why we urgently need to change the political/economic landscape in order to tackle critical world issues.
(More information about these two conferences, including full Agenda’s and Speaker Profiles will follow shortly)
Two further conferences on the themes of ‘Social Science’ and ‘Health and Wellbeing’ are being planned for later in the year — so watch this space! Thank you for your ongoing support and don’t forget to sign up for Membership of the Institute to get ticket conference discounts and other benefits if you haven’t already done so.
Wishing you an amazing 2017!
