NEW PARADIGM EDUCATION RESEARCH TO VALIDATE THE IOLEE INTRINSIC LEARNING FRAMEWORK AND PRACTICES
Have you ever had a sense that you react to present situations as though you were in the past?
Each of us have unresolved painful experiences from the past, the suppression and repression of which cause an alert hyper-focused attention that continually anticipates danger. This keeps an uncertain number of versions of yourself trapped inside their respective incomplete experience. When triggered, these trapped selves reduce our conscious observations and associated flow into negative, adverse or disruptive overreactions. Think for instance of the fight, flight, and freeze or stress response, and how this produces enormous amounts of tension, electric activity, and toxins, referred to as stress. This is from where we tend to respond to the world around us, unless we recognize from where these trapped selves manipulate us into overreacting.
Just like letters relate to words and sentences, there are a set of nine (9) endogenous responses (overreactions), described as the elemental linguistic features of an uncertain number of patterns. These predictable patterns, are related to mentioned trapped past, and incomplete, experiences that remain semi-permanently collapsed in memory, ready to be triggered. This reduces our mind and body’s capacity to guide all systems towards homeostatic balance. Using IOLEE’s framework we can easily recognize the predictable elemental linguistic features associated with specific sensations such as tension, heat, pressure, and heaviness in the body, and specific internal feelings such as fear, sadness, and rejection. Patterns of these feelings and sensations dynamically manipulate us into overreacting. IOLEE also describes how these mechanisms of coping are directly mapped to functions of the neuroendocrine and other systems and how, over time, their unbalancing activity compromises our immune and other systems.
Through a simple internally facilitated process, IOLEE offers guidance towards the discovery, decoding, mapping, and integration (resolution) of these past suppressed and repressed experiences, re-experienced as familiar feelings such as fear, sadness, frustration, rejection, and isolation. The experiential understanding that arises through this process, reduces reactivity to former triggers and effortlessly facilitates desensitization, catharsis, and integration (resolution), leading to clarity and a sense of aware-discerning presence. Combining awareness, focused and open attention, one learns to “hold space” for what wants to be seen and felt. What follows is an effortless integration of versions of one’s self from the past, and their associated patterns of stress, into one’s current reality and present self. This resolves and clears associated patterns and the negative feelings associated with memories of the past. Some resolve instantly, others moderately and again others slowly. Integration or resolution makes more of who one really is, accessible in the present moment. This learning-based transformation reestablishes a deep symbiotic relationship with oneself, others, including the microbial world, the planetary ecosystem at large, and beyond. This will have a deep impact on our capacity as human species to overcome present and future global health, economic, and other challenges.
Research into IOLEE’s self-reflexive, learning and investigative practices, can benefit traditional and alternative curriculums, through its deep experiential exploration of the quantum fabric of experience, as the basis of affective, cognitive, and physiological processing, and social emotional development to evolve the overall learning process, and the development of transformational technology.
