An Update from the Director’s Blog

As you may have noticed there has not been much activity over recent months and this is because the Laszlo Institute has been going through a period of reorganisation and refocusing. The legal and administrative operations are being transferred from the UK to Italy which will make all operational duties much easier to administer from now on.

I am also delighted to announce that we are in the process of organising a new conference over the last weekend in September which will be co-hosted by our friends from the Scientific and Medical Network (SMN) and full details about this conference will be posted on this website within the next few days. Be sure not to miss it.

I am also pleased to announce that we have two new additions to our Executive team.

Firstly, Alexander Laszlo will be joining us as ‘Strategic Director’ in order to drive the strategic direction of the Institute forward.

Secondly, I have made the decision to step down from the position of ‘Executive Director’ so that I can focus on managing all elements of the forthcoming conferences and to pursue other projects and I am therefore delighted to welcome Shamik Desai as my replacement with effect from today.

Shamik is not only a personal friend but an exceptionally talented Manager and is the ideal person for this important role.

Please join me in welcoming Shamik as the new ‘Executive Director’. Under his leadership I am sure the Institute will grow and thrive in the years to come.
