A one-of-a-kind, spectacular, world-class event to promote global action for peace and thriving in a prosperous and sustainable future will be held in Vancouver on the morning of Sunday October 9, 2022 at 11 a.m. PDT / 8 p.m CET

It is a free event.
Open to the public of all ages, but registration is required at thevisioneers.ca/events/waging-peace. This is a global event. The local audience can participate in person and the livestream will reach audiences on five continents.

The event opens with a video of Dr. Santa Ono, President of UBC, welcoming the live audience and the world, livestreamed to viewers on five continents. Following his presentation, he is awarded a Visioneers Hero of Humanity award as Shakespearian actor, Christopher Gaze recites the citation. The expert videographers point their camera lenses at the action in the room, wherever it is, led by the creative experience of stage director Richard Berg, and the leader of the Voice and Opera program in the UBC School of Music, Nancy Hermiston.

The world class presenters, whose cameos are included in the event, include Dr. Jean Houston, Dr. Jane Goodall, Anne Baring, Dr. Robert Muller, Dr. William Halal, Dr. Ervin Laszlo, and David Lorimer. For more information, click the link below.

This launch is the introduction to a program of ten legacy episodes filmed by leading wisdom keepers, each speaking of a different aspect of Humanity’s Golden Peace and providing their vision for the future. These episodes and the launch will be available to registrants as a world-class teaching and learning opportunity following the launch.
