A handbook for conscious change that could transform the current world crisis into planetary renewal.
- Outlines the problems that make today’s world prone to breakdown and suggests actions we must adopt in politics, business, and everyday life.
- Replaces the limited consciousness of our failing society with the holistic consciousness that is rooted in the Akashic field.
The deepening economic crisis and the threat posed by climate change and other social and ecological trends has caused many to despair. But with great danger comes great opportunity–the opportunity for fundamental change that will transform our societies from top to bottom. In WorldShift 2012, Ervin Laszlo brings together insights for creating sustainable positive change from spiritual leaders, scientists, and visionary businesspeople–people such as Albert Einstein, Mohammad Yunus, Václav Havel, Eckhart Tolle, Ken Wilber, David Korten, Paul Hawken, and Tomoyo Nonaka, former CEO of Sanyo Electronics. He shows how we can replace the limited consciousness of our failing society with the holistic consciousness that is reflected in the unified field of quantum physics: the Akashic field.
We have an opportunity to move from the current political and business model of grow or die to a sustainable world respectful of human beings, nature, and the planet. Change on this level calls for a profound shift in consciousness and a clear understanding that–as cutting-edge physics shows–we are truly connected with each other and with the cosmos. This book presents clear evidence of this connectedness and describes the tools we need to make our world greener and our planet safer as we strive to realize the holistic consciousness of connection through the Akashic field.

“This book will help us to evaluate the current situation of our planet and to find the path we must take.”
“Something is going to happen in 2012, but what that will be is up to us. That is why WorldShift 2012 is so significant as a handbook for this great change–it is the kind of positive cocreative script the world needs in order to conclude and regenerate the cycle on a successful evolutionary note.”
José Argüelles, Author of The Mayan Factor
“WorldShift is about an outer world built on inner realization. The higher consciousness that has been evolving through human beings for centuries is seeding a garden of hope and promise. Ervin Laszlo maps this new world and its promise–no one I know is more acutely attuned to it.”
“Think-tank founder and prolific author, Laszlo simply uses the notion of the 2012 breakdown/breakthrough as a vehicle for the tranformation of the world… will appeal… to earth-conscious readers… “
The enterprise of science, as a disciplined inquiry into the nature and workings of the world, is coming to affirm many of the intuitively sensed and viscerally known insights long held by various wisdom traditions of spirituality.
By Ignacio Pavez, Lori D. Kendall, Chris Laszlo. The increasingly visible effects of climate change, the degradation of ecological systems, growing income inequality, and high levels of stress and disengagement in the workplace have dramatically increased corporate awareness of the need for integrating sustainability into business strategy. However, the focus of this awareness has largely emphasized finding ways to reduce the firm’s harmful impact from “bad” to “less bad” (e.g., when a company cuts its CO2 emissions by 50%). While this helps firms be less unsustainable, it diverts their focus from creating a more flourishing world, a place where people everywhere live in healthy communities, prosper, and can live life to the fullest. We propose that it is time for leaders to shift their thinking, and for companies to refocus their efforts, from reducing harm to making a positive impact, which we define as increasing economic prosperity while contributing to a healthy regenerative natural environment and improving human well-being.
Reconnecting to the Source is a powerful new book on the science of spiritual experience by Dr. Ervin Laszlo. A well-known figure in the fields of new science, consciousness, and spirituality, Dr. Laszlo has inspired some of today’s most important figures in science and philosophy. In Reconnecting to the Source he unpacks the science behind spiritual experience, investigating the ways in which we can access realms of experience beyond the everyday. It is in these moments, when our conscious minds are in contact or perhaps even overridden by our unconscious selves, that we can explore the depths of spiritual meaning.
